"It's supposed to have a title..."
What if it doesn't possess one? What if that's exactly the title in itself?
When titles tell us everything we need to know about the story waiting to be told inside, yet we don't even realize it… THOSE are the best crafted titles.
When a title drops the penny (aka, the spoiler) and we don’t get to hear it until much later… mischief and innocence hang out like two kids who just met in a park and, from the very first moment, start acting like life-long besties.
I left this post sitting in my drafts for two months… approximately.
During all that time, I crammed my drafts with more pieces of writing that I haven't dared to share—postponing for the millionth time, in what has now stretched over a decade, my dream of becoming a writer.
I never changed the title of the post. And it continue to drew me in, but I never understood why.
I also spent those two months making excuses about not having the “perfect name” to christen this newsletter and finally get it started once and for all.
SPOILER: The title-non-title of it, I foreshadowed it myself in the header of what would become my first post. This post.
If you're reading this, it means I didn't postpone the dream for the million-and-first time. It means I've already set that desire in motion with a full tank.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
– yours truly, V.
